Mediterranean console

A console table built around colour: an aluminium frame supports a top in acrylic, available in a run of Mediterranean-inspired tones, amber, azure, and olive, each one bright enough to act as the room's accent piece rather than disappear into the background. The slatted wood underside contrasts with the smooth, saturated colour of the top, giving the piece two distinct material languages depending on which angle it's seen from. Simple in construction but confident in colour, the console works as well grouped in multiples, mixing tones side by side, as it does as a single statement piece in an otherwise neutral room.
