The Creekside

Residential Resort·Al Zorah | UAE·2024·Under Construction

Sited directly alongside the Gateway on the same mangrove-fronted stretch of Al Zorah, UAE, The Creekside is conceived as an extension of that project rather than a development in its own right — continuing its architectural language while introducing a tiered, theatre-inspired reading of the site: a residential complex organized around a stepped central courtyard that opens the whole plan toward the mangrove forest and the water beyond. That courtyard functions as the development's communal stage, its tiers facing the mangrove and aligned with the Gateway's own courtyard and shared spaces, extending that ground plane into one larger gathering space held in common by both communities. The residential units above carry the same balcony tiering as their neighbor, each terrace stepping back to hold a clear view over the mangrove canopy, finished in the same stone cladding, fabric, and glass as the adjacent building so the two developments read as a single continuous composition. Entrances are given the same scale and material language established next door — generous, glazed, and grounded in natural stone — carrying that arrival sequence through from one building to the other without a seam. Beyond that shared vocabulary, The Creekside adds its own layer of amenity tuned to the setting: nature trails through the mangrove, an observation deck over the water, and direct access to water sports along the creek — extending the Gateway's ecological and communal ambitions rather than repeating them. Jo Geitani Architects designed the Creekside project for Solidere International's development in Al Zorah, Ajman, UAE.
