Blom Bank HQ. offices

Interior Design·Verdun Beirut·1997·Built

Completed in 1997 inside the headquarters of Blom Bank, these interior offices organise open-plan workspace around a simple, disciplined logic: private offices and meeting rooms break up the floor plate, while individual workstations sit at the building's periphery, giving every employee access to natural light and views over Beirut rather than reserving them for a select few enclosed offices. Collective spaces are marked out with lightweight, movable partitions rather than fixed walls, keeping the whole floor genuinely reconfigurable as needs change over time. Throughout, the material palette stays deliberately restrained: a monochromatic white scheme set against black-and-white furniture, so the architecture of light and partition does the visual work, rather than colour or ornament.
